The Unexpected Way Jessica’s Nature-Inspired Jewelry Brought Peace to a Grieving Family - A Handmade Creation Story
I have known Jessica for a long time but did not realize she made such amazing things until a common friend of ours posted one of her sun catchers on Facebook.
I didn’t think much of it
until the day my 2nd granddaughter was born.
My husband got my daughter some beautiful flowers to take to the hospital.
Two days later they had to rush my granddaughter to the hospital for heart surgery.
I was trying to think of how to save her flowers until she got home and remembered the sun catchers. I reached out to Jessica, and she did them for us and they were beautiful.
I hung them in my daughter’s living room and Lainey’s nursery. Unfortunately, almost 20 weeks after, my granddaughter passed away from a second heart surgery. The funeral home was filled with gorgeous arrangements and flowers, and
I just couldn’t see throwing them away, so I again contacted Jessica.
She met me at the cemetery and took what flowers she knew she could preserve and made me more sun catchers.
I had her do enough to give to family and close friends as a remembrance of our little Lainey. They were beautiful. With the left-over flowers, she made me some Christmas ornaments. They, too, were stunning and will be given as gifts to remember our little angel each year when we put it on our tree.
